The village of Bratříkovice is located in a slightly undulating higher hill between the nearby Hůrka hill, the top of which reaches
altitude 440 m above sea level and the Hlavnice hill with an altitude of 409 m above sea level.
There are currently 163 inhabitants living in the village, which covers an area of 374 hectares.
Already in 1250, the village belonged to the property of the Cistercian monastery in Velehrad. At the beginning of the 16th century, it was held as a pledge by the Bárk family from Násile. After that, it fell in time to the great-heraltic estate. During the estate uprising they owned
Bratříkovice Moravští from Rudnice. The village was confiscated by them and for a short time it again became the property of the Velehrad monastery. During the Thirty Years' War, Bratříkovice was completely devastated. From 1795 they again had a common owner with Velké Heraltice.
In the village stands the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, built in 1871 with modern equipment. There is a monument in front of him
victims of World War I. The chapel houses a larger-than-life-size statue of the Virgin Mary with Jesus Christ from the 18th century.
They come from the first quarter of the 19th century
God's torment in front of the house No. 83.
Since the abolition of the patrimonial establishment, Bratříkovice belonged to the Bruntál district.
From 1949, they became part of the then Opava district. In 1979, the village was joined to Litultovice. Bratříkovice has been a territorial self-governing unit since 1 April 2000.
