Luběnice Municipal Office.
In the western part of the Upper Moravian gorge, where the fertile Haná begins to gradually pass into the first hills of the Drahanská Highlands, with the dominant long-extinct volcano, the traditional Haná mountain Kosíř, is the village of Luběnice. location of the original settlement. This settlement was probably much closer to the river Blata, flowing east of the village.
The first written mention of the village can be found in the old chronicles in 1297. Luběnice is one of the smaller villages, both in terms of the number of houses and the number of inhabitants.
