The town of Litovel lies at an altitude of 233 m above sea level in the Upper Moravian gorge on the edge of the Mohelnická ravine, in the valley of the Morava River.
Litovel includes 11 local parts: Březové, Chořelice, Chudobín, Myslechovice, Nasobůrky, Nová Ves, Rozvadovice, Savín, Tři Dvory, Unčovice and Víska.
