The village of Bohuňovice is approximately 10 km away
of Olomouc and 7 km from the town of Sternberk.
It is located in three cadastres Bohuňovice, Moravská Loděnice and Trusovice, which are also the names of villages,
of which Bohuňovice was formed by merging in 1960.
The first mention of Bohuňovice appears
in the basic document of the Hradisko monastery
of 3 February 1078.
At present, the village has over 2500
