The village of Seloutky is located in the district of Prostějov in the Olomouc Region. It is a small village located 5 km southwest of the district town of Prostějov. It lies east of the last outcrops of the Drahanská vrchovina, on the western edge of the Hornomoravské úval, in the Prostějovská basin. Currently, approx. 536 inhabitants.

The first written mention of Seloutky dates from 1325.

- a cross by the road to Prostějov from 1794.

Several interest organizations operate in the village. An important component is the cultural and social commission, which organizes traditional balls of the municipal office, feasts, Children's Day celebrations, cultural and sightseeing tours, as well as shopping trips. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1924 and has been one of the most active organizations in the village throughout its existence. The purpose of the local hunting association is to protect and care for game, especially in winter.

The volunteer fire brigade, the hunting association, the municipal library and other associations operate in the village.
