The village of Jihlávka is located in the district of Jihlava in the region of Vysočina. The village is located in the southwestern extremity of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, on the border of Bohemia and Moravia. The village was named after the river Jihlava, which originates here. The oldest written report about the village dates from 1356.

The oldest historical monument in the village is the stone torment of God from 1673. There are also two bell towers in Jihlávka - a Catholic and an Evangelical one. In 1920, the village built a monument to the soldiers who died in the First World War. There is a memorial Elm (mountain) tree in the village.

In the village of Jihlávka there is a veterinarian, a locksmith, a carpenter, a children's playground and there are two nature reserves with rare species of plants and animals.

In our village, you will find clean air, peace and beautiful nature, which invite you to go for walks, pick forest fruits or go cycling. In winter, Javořice, the highest peak of the Czech-Moravian Highlands, which is eight kilometers away, beckons for cross-country skiing.
