The village of Lozice is located in the Chrudim district, in the Pardubice region. It stretches along both banks of the river Novohradka near road No. III/3561, Luže, Chroustovice and the railway station Uhersko. The village is located on the very border of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The altitude of the village is 281 m.

The village has a permanent population of 150 - 160 inhabitants (the situation is currently only slightly variable, but due to bold spatial plans we expect an increase in the number of inhabitants in the future.

The very first mention of the village of Lozice from the period around 1129 is connected with Olomouc bishop Jindřich Zdík and the cathedral church of St. Wenceslas in Olomouc.

The municipal office is located at Lozice 71, Chrudim district.
