The town of Česká Třebová is located in eastern Bohemia in the foothills of the Eagle Mountains and is one of the largest in the region. Its history dates back to 1278. Until quite recently, the name Česká Třebová evoked above all the railway. It is still an important transport intersection of the region, but it is also becoming a city in which more space is provided for sports and culture, a city that stands out for its greenery and many parks, a city that is developing. Important cultural monuments that tourists can visit include the rotunda of St. Kateřiny – Romanesque rotunda from the first half of the 13th century, classicist church of St. Jakub Většího from 1801 or a newly reconstructed cottage, with period exposition, where Max Švabinský lived at the beginning of the last century. And not only that, Česká Třebová also boasts quality sports fields. Winter sports lovers will appreciate the modern winter stadium, an 800 m long ski slope or 30 km of groomed cross-country trails. Other options for sports and relaxation are offered, for example, by an indoor swimming pool, volleyball and tennis courts, football and multi-purpose fields, a climbing wall or a newly built rope park.
