The village of Hajnice is located in the district of Trutnov in the Hradec Králové Region. Its area covers an area of 3172 ha and is situated at an altitude of 589 m above sea level. The first written mention of the village dates from 1260. Hajnice consists of six cadastral areas - Brusnice, Kyje, Nesytá, Hajnice, Horní and Dolní Žďár. We are also part of the Podkrkonoší microregion. At present, our municipality has 992 permanent residents.
