The Kolín Children's Center is a contributory organization established by the Central Bohemian Region. Our services focus on comprehensive care for vulnerable children up to 3 years of age, possibly older and handicapped children up to 6 years of age, social counseling, stays of parents with children (training of parents in child care), rehabilitation stays and other activities. DC Kolín is located in a modernized building with sunny terraces in the middle of a large garden at Tylova 129. The capacity of the facility is 40 beds for children under 3 years of age and 5 beds for mothers.
Children's center Kolín, services:
- provision of health services and care for children who cannot grow up in a family environment, in particular children with perinatal burden and health risk, children abused, neglected, abused and at risk of developing an unsuitable social environment or children with disabilities
- center for comprehensive care for vulnerable children (long-term and daily stays of children up to 3 years of age, eventually older and handicapped children up to 6 years of age)
- children's corner Hajánek (short stays for children from families with temporary social and health problems)
- social counseling
- pediatric and psychological care
- rehabilitation stays
- stays of parents with children (training of parents in child care)
- special educational care
- physiotherapy.
Facilities for children in need of immediate assistance, ZDVOP:
- protection and assistance for children who are left without family care or who cannot otherwise be in the family
- for children aged 0 to 18 years.
