ADVAITA, o. s.

Nova Ves 55, Liberec 463 31
Civic association ADVAITA provides services to users of addictive substances, pathological gamblers and their loved ones. It currently operates two facilities: the Therapeutic Community for Drug Addicts in Nová Ves and the Outpatient Services Center in Liberec.

The therapeutic community is a medical resocialization facility with a long-term stay (the average duration of completed stays is one year). People from all over the Czech Republic are admitted to the facility.

The Liberec outpatient services center provides three services. The first of them is an outpatient counseling program, intended for people who have a problem with an illegal addictive substance, alcohol or pathological gambling and want to solve their problem. This program also provides services to parents and loved ones of users. It is possible to book a one-off consultation or join a long-term program of outpatient counseling.

The second service is an after-treatment program, intended for people who have already undergone treatment for their addiction and want to rejoin normal life. Through this program, the center's staff provide clients with the kind of support and assistance that will make this difficult step easier for them. The center offers an after-treatment program in both outpatient and residential form. Since 2009, it has operated five subsidized apartments, where ten beds are available to clients for a limited period of six months.

The third service is new support for independent living, which is provided mainly in the field and which offers support and help to people who are abstinent, but due to their chronic addiction are not self-sufficient in the field of independent living and employment.

The services of the ADVAITA Ambulatory Services Center are primarily intended for people from the Liberec region.

Consultations must be booked in advance by phone or e-mail. Ordering times usually do not exceed three weeks.

Since 2010, the association has also offered primary prevention programs in schools to a limited extent. They are aimed at preventing unwanted phenomena in school-age children. Among other things, their goal is to make a positive impression on children so that they avoid drug and alcohol abuse. In addition to the prevention of drug abuse, other topics include, for example, bullying and spending too much time on the computer.
