Business Academy, Česká Lípa, nám. Osvobození 422, a contributory organization, is a school founded by the Liberec Region. The school was founded in 1945, in the years 1960 - 1990 it was called Secondary School of Economics Česká Lípa. At present, the school is housed in a newly renovated building on Osvobození Square near the center. Near the school is a youth home, where students have the opportunity to eat and stay. The Business Academy offers three fields focusing on computer graphics (information and communication technology, graphic design, web design and programming basics), corporate management (finance, tourism, taxes, law and human resources) and, as a last language academy (foreign languages)., accounting, economics, foreign language correspondence and written and electronic communication). The course includes professional practice, cooperation with authorities and business entities, excursions to companies, offices and banks. These programs prepare for the following professions: economist, sales representative, entrepreneur, banking and insurance worker, accountant and tax advisor, secretary, assistant, human resources, civil servant, tourism worker, marketing worker, advertising design, web design, administrator website. The field of Economics lyceum offers two specializations: language lyceum with the study of three languages, guide and hotel services, translation and interpreting and conversation and correspondence in a foreign language and economic lyceum with a focus on marketing and management, economics, ecology and social culture. Part of the course is professional practice, excursions to companies, technical museums, organic farms, etc.
These educational programs prepare students for studies in the following fields: economics, economics, business, finance and insurance, law, state administration and self-government, foreign languages, hospitality, tourism, social sciences, natural sciences, pedagogy and teaching.
Graduates of the Česká Lípa Business Academy have a wide range of employment opportunities in all administrative and economic jobs, and many students enroll at universities, especially at the University of Economics in Prague, TU Liberec, UJEP Ústí nad Labem, CULS Prague and others. Our students can participate in high school professional activities and in the Ekonom OA competition. The school also has the possibility of cultural activities and sports activities.
