The village of Měcholupy can be found in the Ústí nad Labem Region, in the Louny District, near the town of Žatec, in the picturesque valley of the Blšanka River. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1295. Several smaller villages are associated with Měcholupy, they are Milošice, Želeč and Velká Černoc. Currently, more than 1, 000 inhabitants live here. I am an agricultural village, the main cultivated crop is hops of excellent quality, marginally also cereals.
