The village of Stebno is located in the district of Ústí nad Labem, on the plateau of the Bohemian Central Mountains, bordered by the deep valleys of the Elbe and Bílina rivers. It lies at an altitude of 404 m above sea level and covers an area of 1, 095 hectares. The oldest written mention of the village dates from 1352. The cadastre of the village also includes Chvalov, Milbohov, Podlešín and Suchá.
