The village of Kozomín is located in the district of Mělník. It is located 6 km east of the town of Kralupy nad Vltavou at an altitude of 265 m above sea level. The village has 450 inhabitants.

The cadastre of the village measures 272 hectares and represents a very irregular north-south formation. Archaeological finds show that Meziříčí in the Vltava-Lab area was already inhabited by humans deep in the Stone Age. However, the first written mention of the village dates back to 1400.

The most valuable monument in our village is a column, called the statue of the Holy Trinity, or the plague column. It comes from 1719, or 1721.
