The village of Hořešovičky is located in the Central Bohemian Region, 10 km northwest of Slaný in the Kladno district. In 2003, rescue archaeological research was carried out here and unique localities of the old Acheulene site were discovered here.
The first written mention of the village comes from the year 1227, which proves that the monastery of St. George in Prague. The village often changed its owners, in 1547 the town of Slaný had it, then it was bought by Jan Bořita from Martinice. During the reign of Maria Theresa in 1770 was the first census of houses and people. The village then had 15 large farms, 14 cottages, 1 smithy and 1 shepherdess. At the end of the 19th century, Hořešovičky belonged to the Zlonice (Kinští) estate.
Currently there live 131 inhabitants.
