The village of Drnek is located in the Central Bohemian Region in the Kladno district. It is located 9 km east of the town of Slaný and 13 km southeast of the town of Kladno. In the Middle Ages, two settlements Humniště and Svídná stood in its place. Today, the village has 181 inhabitants and covers an area of 521 hectares.
