The village of Bernartice is situated in a picturesque valley in the district of Benešov in the Central Bohemian Region and flows through the Bernartice stream, which springs in the meadow Pod Hrby. It is located at an altitude of 403 m above sea level and the first written mention of the village comes from 1375. The village also includes the local part of Borovsko. Currently lives 235 inhabitants.
