Pojbuky village is a picturesque South Bohemian village located northeast of the district town of Tábor. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1382. The original form of the name of our village was Pobibuky, which means a village of pobibuků - people who slaughter beeches. Pojbuky also includes several smaller villages, such as Zadní Lomná, Blatnice and Dolní Světlá. At present, a total of 119 inhabitants live here.
