The village of Mojné is located in the South Bohemian Region in the district of Český Krumlov.
The first written mention of the village dates from 1315.
Mojné is a typical rural village with several large farmsteads, smaller farms and simple cottages, with a water reservoir and an original smithy with a bell tower in the center of the village.
Currently there are 282 permanent residents. The village also includes the villages of Černice and Záhorkovice.
There is a restaurant, a shop and a municipal office in the village.
The sights of the village include the Gothic church of St. Mary Magdalene in Černice with a cemetery and a preserved wall.
