The Fishing Association of the Czech Republic is a professional grouping of breeders and processors of freshwater fish, fisheries research, education and fishing associations. Subjects of the Fishing Association of the Czech Republic manage approximately 90% of the pond areas used for fish farming and participate to the same extent in the nationwide production of market fish. The basic mission of the association is to maintain the position of a prosperous production fishery and to focus on the production of nutritionally and healthily valuable fish and fish products with an almost organic character.
