The village of Jenišov is located in the Karlovy Vary region in the district of Karlovy Vary. It has an area of 518 ha and is located at an altitude of 421 m above sea level. The village consists of two parts Jenišov and Pod Rohem. The first written mention of the village dates from 1390. At present, Jenišov has 969 permanent residents.
