The town of Ostrov is located at the foot of the Ore Mountains between the spa towns of Karlovy Vary and Jáchymov.
It has a rich history associated with the mining of silver and uranium, but also the production of Škoda trolleybuses, mobile cells, betatrons and, last but not least, porcelain.
A wide range of shopping options, sports fields of various kinds, as well as cultural life, which is really rich in our city, contribute to the happy life of the residents.
