The goal of the union's activities in accordance with the approved statutes is to effectively help create optimal conditions for the dynamic development of the production branches of the silicate industry and to defend the common interests of its members.
The union publishes its own magazine and professional publications and textbooks for ceramicists, tilers, stove makers and others.
The Silicate Association was founded in March 1992 as an interest association and is registered under Act 83/90 Coll. on the association of citizens. The association traces its origin to 1990, when the Ceramic College was founded, as an informal community serving mainly to exchange information.
