Základní škola, Prague 13, Janského 2189 provides quality education for children from first to ninth grade. We are currently educating 314 students.
We offer our students extended foreign language teaching, from the 3rd to the 5th grade in English and from the 6th grade we include the second compulsory German language. In other classes, we teach Russian as a second compulsory language.
We cooperate with the European Center for Language Exams and provide for pupils from 1st to 9th grade. preparatory courses and the possibility of passing the international language exam Starters (for A1), Movers (A1) and Flyers (A2). Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive their first diploma from the University of Cambridge.

Every year, our school organizes outdoor school schools, ski training courses, sightseeing trips, visits to cultural and educational programs or art galleries. We pay attention to the all-round development of the personality and we try to motivate pupils to lifelong learning.
