Municipal office. Čejč is an ancient village and was first mentioned in 1222. A member of the Hovoransko microregion.
The most important monument is the Baroque statue of St. Cajetan, built in 1722 by Countess Liechtenstein. Today, the statue is located in Nádražní řada Street. From 1866, the tomb of the Prussian Marshal Friedrich von Clausewitz has been preserved in the local park.

Čejč lies at the bottom of a large basin closed by the last outcrops of the Maršov Mountains 185 meters above sea level.
The vineyards thrive in the yellow clay, which are planted on the slopes around Čejč precisely for these favorable soil conditions.
