Meridian International School (MIS) is an international English school whose comprehensive education system consists of a kindergarten, a first grade elementary school and a lower and upper grammar school. It is located in a quiet area of Prague 8 - Kobylisy, within walking distance of metro stations Ládví and Střížkov and tram and bus stops Třebenická.
At MIS, we accept children of all nationalities. The curriculum and all instruction is in English and it is not at all important whether the child is a native English speaker, has English as a second language, or comes to school without knowledge of English. Thanks to our comprehensive educational program, based on the British Curriculum of England, children will learn English quite naturally.
Our school represents an open multicultural environment and we are glad that we can also provide education to pupils of Czech nationality. We are aware of Czech cultural values and the good tradition of local education, so we offer our Czech students a comprehensive Czech education system, which includes teaching the Czech language and other subjects (elementary school, homeland studies, history, geography) according to the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education approved by the Ministry of Education.
