Cetkovice is an old agricultural settlement, picturesquely laid out in the eastern part of Malá Haná at an altitude of 395 meters above sea level.
The charming landscape is indented in the west by the picturesque hills and mounds of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, in the southeast by the emerald forests of the Drahan Highlands.
The first written mention of Cetkovice itself is from the year 1160, when eight Cetkov pools were donated by King Vladislav I to the Hradišť Monastery.
Currently, 756 permanent residents live here.
In the village there is a primary and kindergarten school, a sports club, a volunteer fire brigade, a Roman Catholic parish, a post office, a library, a restaurant and also a grocery store.
The beautiful nature in the surroundings invites you to go cycling and hiking, or pick mushrooms and wild berries.
