The village of Hluboká is located in the Pardubice Region, Chrudim District between the towns of Skuteč and Proseč. The first written mention of the village dates from 1418. The village also includes the settlements of Střítež, Chlum, Dolany and Březiny. At present, a total of 230 inhabitants live here. Hluboká is also a member of the Association of Toulovcovy Maštale Municipalities and the Association of Municipalities of the Litomyšl Microregion.
