The village of Radkov is located 6 km southeast of Moravská Třebová, on both banks of the Třebůvka river, and is located in the Svitavy district of the Pardubice region. Radkov ranks among the members of the association of municipalities of Moravskotřebovska and Jevíčska. Currently, approx. 117 inhabitants.

The first written mention of the village dates from 1365. Originally, the village was probably inhabited by Slavs. A castle stood north of Radkov, and in the village, in a place called Hradisko, there was a fortress or courtyard.

Radkov lies directly on the border of the Bohdalov-Hartinkov Nature Park and many protected species of plants grow here, e.g. sedge, and there are protected and interesting species of animals, e.g. the spotted salamander or the common plover. The nature park was established in 1996.
