The South Bohemian village of Drunče is located in the district of Jindřichův Hradec and consists of two parts, Drunče and Annovice, which stretch along both banks of the Koutské brook.

The village of Drunče is one of the oldest villages in the area, which is evidenced by the character of the construction of the first original houses in the shape of a so-called "round".

The first written mention of the village dates from 1267.

A public water supply system has been built in the village. There is a municipal office, a cultural center with a social hall, a library and a shop, a volunteer fire brigade and also a new children's playground.

The surroundings of Drunče are suitable for walking and cycling trips. A yellow hiking trail and cycle path pass west of the village.
