The village of Bezděkov is located in the Rokycany district and lies at an altitude of 468 m above sea level. The first written mention of the village of Bezděkov is probably from March 20, 1234, when King Wenceslas I confirmed the donation of the village of Bezděkov by Gumpold's son Dětleb from Potvorov to the Plaský monastery. 150 inhabitants live here and the cadastral area of the village is 120.5 ha.

The village of Bezděkov is part of the Radnicko micro-region, which is a union of municipalities in the Rokycany district, its seat is the Town Hall and its goal is to unite into a larger unit that will solve its problems together. These include, in particular, job opportunities, transport services, completion and improvement of infrastructure and civic amenities, careful use of natural resources for the economic development of the territory.
