Karlova Ves is located in the Central Bohemian Region in the Rakovník district, in the central part of the PLA Křivoklátsko. Karlova Ves is one of the very young settlements, its origin dates back to the modern era. The village was founded in a place called U Buku at the instigation of the owner of the Křivoklát manor Prince Charles Egon II. z Fürstenberka. At present, our village has 132 inhabitants.
