The village of Košík is located in the district of Nymburk in the Central Bohemian Region. It covers an area of 1468 hectares at an altitude of 223 m above sea level.
The village also includes the villages of Doubravany, Sovolusky and Tuchom.
The first written mention of the village dates from 1420. At present, Košík has 364 permanent residents.
In the village there is a post office, municipal office, hospitality, library and general store.
There is also a volunteer fire brigade and TJ Sokol.
During the year, citizens organize various social, cultural and sporting events.
