The village of Úlehle is located in the South Bohemian Region, about 8 kilometers southwest of the town of Strakonice. The village lies at an average height of 512 m.a.s.l. The cadastral area of the village is 656 ha, of which 29% is arable land, 33% forests and the rest are meadows and built-up land.

48 residents live permanently in Úlehli. Úlehle is further divided into 3 parts - Úlehle, Radkovice and Švýcarova Lhota. Radkovice is located one kilometer southwest of Úlehle at an altitude of approximately 500 m.a.s.l. and 35 residents live here permanently. Nihošovický stream flows through the village. Švýcarova Lhota is located about two kilometers north of Úlehle at an altitude of around 600 m.a.s.l. and 24 inhabitants live here. There is a freely accessible lookout tower and a local dolmen near Švýcarovy Lhota.

The first mention of the village comes from historical sources in 1318. At that time, the village was called Aulehle or Oulehle. Another record comes from 1924, when the village was renamed Úlehli.
