At the beginning of the 18th century Gajdushka's company of robberies lived in the forests of life, which frightened the whole area. Although Gajdušek and several of his followers were executed in Nový Jičín in 1719, some of the remaining bandits until 1736 still worried about this region. In 1898, 92 pieces of golden Hungarian ducats from the 15th and 16th centuries were found in Životice when digging at a century old linden on a farm. The owner of the farm - the magistrate gave them to poor families.
