HISTORY:
- The village of Mořkov is a mountain village located in the western foothills at an altitude of 357 m. The beginnings of the village date back to the end of the 13th century, making it one of the oldest but also the largest villages in the Novojičín district.
Sights:
- Church of St. George - the first mention of it comes from 1587, the church was rebuilt to its current form in 1878
- The building of the first school from 1844
- Private evangelical school, built in 1894 - 1895
- Memorial to the victims of the torture in concentration camps
- Monument to the fallen during the First World War.
