The ostomy club provides facilities for patients who have developed a stoma (outlet), most often a colostomy and ileostomy, as a result of a serious illness.
He is a member of the Czech ILCO and the League Against Cancer, and cooperates with doctors, ostomy nurses and suppliers of ostomy appliances.
The members come from all over the Zlín region.
The club has experienced volunteers who help new patients cope with life with a stoma, organizes club meetings and offers a rich program of reconditioning stays, sightseeing tours and cultural events. It publishes the Zetko newsletter, presents information leaflets and has its own website.
