The Anti-Doping Committee of the Czech Republic is the highest authority and an exclusive professional workplace with nationwide scope that ensures the anti-doping program of the Czech Republic.
This expert guarantor for doping issues was established in 1999 as a state-funded organization and its founder is the National Sports Agency as of 1 January 2020.
The basic goal of the ADV ČR is to protect the identity of sport as a unique human activity, to support the right of athletes to participate in sport without doping and thus to promote health, justice and equal opportunities for all athletes.
In short, the activities of the ADV CR include the following activities:
- control (security of doping controls)
- legislative
- informative and educational.
