TJ Sokol in Valašská Polanka was founded in 1937 as an association of tourists and sports-minded people. Later, the members began to devote themselves mainly to football and over time began to place themselves in district competitions. Football is played by younger and older students, teenagers and also adult players who play in the A-team, I.A class group and in the B-team, III. classes. Pupils and adolescents, including the older preparation, compete in the District Championship.
At the same time, the club players take part in organizing various events, either for the improvement of the entire sports area and the field or they organize, for example, dance parties and other various events for the general public.
