The village of Býškovice is located in the Přerov district. The first written mention of the village dates from 1372. Currently, 391 inhabitants live here. The village has its own water supply and sewage system with a waste water treatment plant and is gas-fired. A museum with two exhibitions was established in the village as part of European subsidy titles. The memorial hall of General Bohuslav Závada, a Czechoslovak legionnaire who worked closely with T. G. Masaryk, and also the exposition of Býškovice through the centuries.
The village of Býškovice is located in the region of crosses and torments, and all stone and marble crosses, including the monument to those who died in the First World War and the local chapel, have been repaired.
The people living here join together in several associations and take care of the cultural and social life in the village - these include, for example, the Voluntary Fire Brigade, the Physical Education Association, the Fishing Association, the Hunting Association and the Women's Union. The inhabitants of the village also observe traditional customs, such as watering the bear, bringing out the Moraine, Easter clapping, July feasts, St. Nicholas and many others.
