Municipal office ALBRECHTICE.
Albrechtice is located at the northern foot of the Těšín Hills, in the southern part of the Karviná district. The river Stonávka flows through the village with its tributary Chotěbuzka. On an area of 12.69 m2, approximately 4, 000 inhabitants live.
The oldest archaeological monuments date from the Stone Age. Other documented monuments, two pottery kilns, are from the 9th century.
The first written report about the village dates back to 1447. There was talk of a feudal village with a parish church.
The oldest building in the village is a baroque church from 1766, built of massive oak logs, lined with fir trees, with a shingle roof, standing in the area of the cemetery, which was reconstructed by the village in 2008.
It is currently a protected monument of folk architecture. Other protected buildings include the brick chapel from 1844 in the Calůvka settlement, the Worker's House from 1908 and the torment of God by the road, east of the new housing estate.
Landmarks include the brick building of the Catholic school - currently a primary school with the Polish language of instruction, No. 11,
which was built in 1828, the Roman Catholic Church of Peter and Paul from 1938, the municipal office building, which was created by adapting the general school from 1928.
At present, the village of Albrechtice is connected to tourist routes and belongs to the attractive areas of the Euroregion Těšínské Slezsko. The tourist route leads through the center of the village of Albrechtice. Tourists can rest and refresh themselves in Dělnické dům on Hlavní street, in the Zámostí area on Těšínské street and a pizzeria including a fitness center on Životická street.
