History of Nová Ves:
- at the beginning of the 14th century he founded on the territory of today's Nová Ves
son of Jindřich of Frýdlant lazy farm. Also a town

called Cabinets, meadows and alluvium along the right bank of the river
Odry. Later (after the 14th century) Ostrava was part of the forest
felled and transformed into meadows

The most important monuments:
- Church of St. Bartholomew - the first mentions of this building are from
r. 1443. Various legends are written about its origin. It is said
he also has a church in Hrůbky.
- Ignát mine windmill - ventilation extraction tower, used for ventilation

- former school - before the First World War in 1907 si
