The company RYKO, a.s. developed from the company RYKO s.r.o., which in the process of privatization by a public tender won the former Railway Repair and Engineering Works in Děčín. Our main activity is focused on repairs and revisions of railway trucks, locksmithing, metal production or joinery.
We perform reconstructions and modernizations of wagons in order to increase operational and utility properties. This also ensures the safety of the car's operation and its value. We renovate damaged and crashed wagons, in addition, we carry out extensive reconstructions of superstructures.
Completed reconstructions:
- increasing the load capacity of the upper platforms of Laaeks cars
- replacement and reconstruction of filling and discharge systems of tanks
- modifications of car superstructures for track construction, Emma series
We provide inspections and regular inspections of all types of rail freight cars. Thanks to the certificates we own, we are able to repair cars from Italy to Sweden. Every year, 2, 000 cars pass through our modern repair shop.
An indispensable part of our services is the implementation of technical inspections, eg for tanks, all types of fittings and additional equipment according to RID regulations.
We also offer a large range of engineering and locksmith work in a modern workshop. We weld, bend, cut with autogenous, plasma or laser, we process castings. We are also able to make you:

- sheet metal products
- weldments.
