The Olomouc Fortress Museum association, z. s., was founded in May 2007 for the purpose of revitalizing the heritage-protected area of the Crown Fortress.
Museum of the history of the Olomouc fortifications (baroque powder room), plaster model of the Olomouc fortress from the mid-18th century by academic sculptor Jiří Žlebek (in the baroque powder room), amphitheater, Palacký University Science Center Fortress of Knowledge (large artillery depot), the first stage of the revitalization of the greenery and the modification of the central areas. We are preparing the reconstruction of a small artillery depot, a military guardhouse and a relaxation zone with water features by the Mlýnské brook. We are also gradually repairing the crown wall.
