Valašské Meziříčí Observatory, p.o. is one of the observatories with a rich activity. We have prepared programs for individual visitors as well as for families or organized groups. The programs are adapted to the age of the visitors: from kindergartens to seniors.
In addition to the program, visitors can see a model of the Iridium telecommunications satellite located in the lobby and an interesting visual aid "view to infinity".
In addition to the spacious entrance hall, the continuously renewed pictorial decoration is also located in the lecture hall and in the central dome of the observatory, where evening programs are held with binoculars.
In addition, 13 zodiac constellations are depicted around the perimeter of the dome, in which photographs of the Sun and planets on magnetic foils are continuously distributed in positions representing the actual positions of bodies in the sky for a given moment.
Observations for the public take place every working day. The start of the program depends on the time of year.

The observation usually lasts 1.5 hours.
