VÚKV a.s is engaged in applied research, development and testing of rail vehicles and their parts together with other components of transport engineering. Our services also include advisory and consulting activities.
We focus on the development of rail vehicles for passenger and freight transport, we also deal with modernization and interior equipment of vehicles, we provide technical calculations and consultancy during production.
Our rolling stock testing room is equipped with equipment for testing of whole vehicles, individual components and containers. We perform tests of rail vehicles while driving and stationary tests.
Development and research of rail vehicles:
- engineering services for prototype development
- development work on projects of new and modernized vehicles: shell construction, chassis of rail vehicles, vehicle drives, vehicle interior equipment, brzod systems and others
- technical calculations in structural design

Our company provides highly qualified expert, advisory and consulting services that are part of many approval processes.
We are located at Bucharova 1314/8, Prague 5 - Stodůlky. The testing laboratory is located at the premises of the Research Institute of the Railway Cerhenice, Kolín district.
