The children's home with a boarding school and school canteen in Velké Heraltice is a family-type facility with a capacity of 48 children living in 6 family groups. The dormitory has a capacity of 20 children who have not been ordered by institutional care. In northern Moravia, DD Velké Heraltice is the only facility that provides comprehensive services to pregnant pregnant girls, minor mothers and their children. Leisure activities are filled with various circles - sports activities (ball games, gym, table tennis, swimming), art activities (drawing, ceramics, …), music activities (singing, playing a musical instrument), creating your own magazine… Part of leisure activities are trips, walks, cycling and various events. The children's home also includes a secondary school, which offers children and young people educational opportunities in the fields of a two-year practical school (focusing on family preparation and care, housekeeping), gardening work (focusing on florist and arrangement work) and food production (with focusing on confectionery and food production).
