The Research Institute for Occupational Safety, v. V. I. Is a public research institution established by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic. Our main activity is research, verification and application of methods and means in the field of prevention of risks to health and life of persons, the environment and tangible assets resulting from work activities and improvement of work well-being and quality of working life. We also deal with operational research, ie monitoring the status and development of safety and health at work, maintaining data and statistics in the field of safety and health at work. We are located at Jeruzalémská 1283/9, Prague.
