Telephone: +420 774 403 789

The first historically documented mention of the village is from 1591, when Radostín was listed in the Zemské desská in the list of property of the Trčků z Lípa estate as a free village with a rychta. The settlement was established on the route of the Haberské stezky, later the Vienna Road.

The village lies at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level to the north of Havlíčkov Brod in the Vysočina region and covers an area of 434 hectares. 164 residents of various age groups live here.

The landscape around Radostín is typical of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, which, among other things, has a large number of trees, draws and greenery in general. A protected memorial forest beech also grows near the village, which is said to have experienced Žižka's Hussite expeditions. The circumference of the trunk is approximately 5.5 m and it is 23 m high.
The highest point in the area is Volský vrch (598 m above sea level) about 1 km northeast of the village. A stream originates right in Radostín, which flows into the larger Bahenské brook.
